Food Photography | Daily Photography Challenge - Argentine Salteños

What you see on the photo are two empanadas, or as they are called in Salta, Salteños. These are delicious little treats packed with stuff like meat, ham, cheese and chicken. You can get with seafood as well. When I was in Salta, northern Argentina for a few days, I actually had these empanadas evey day. In Salta, we were told that the Salteños from Salta are the best in the whole of South America. I don't know about that, since I haven't tasted empanadas from all over the continent. But I can tell you that these were absolutely delicious. No question about that. I can still remembe how good they were.
