Architectural Photography - Week 35 | "Capture, Click, Compete!" Italian Аrchitecture
When we arrived in Grado, we were greeted by the sight of a beautiful marina that stretched out before us. The waters glistened under the gray sky, reflecting off the hulls of the anchored yachts. The harbor was relatively busy with fishermen unloading their catch while tourists admired the luxury vessels moored nearby.
As we ventured further into the city, we couldn't help but notice the predominant buildings in light tones of yellow and pale pink. They seemed to glow even in cloudy weather, casting a warm glow on the water. The architecture here is a mix of old and new - authentic buildings stand side by side with modern buildings, each telling its own story.
We then walked through the narrow streets, with small shops selling everything from handmade souvenirs to fresh seafood. It felt like stepping back in time, away from the hectic city life. Here, time seemed to stand still, allowing you to appreciate the beauty around you.
Finally we reached the boardwalk where we enjoyed a cup of espresso at one of the local cafes. Looking out at the sea, we couldn't help but feel the peaceful atmosphere enveloping us. Despite the gloomy weather, the visit to Grado was really enjoyable. It is a city that transcends the seasons, offering visitors a glimpse of timeless beauty.
