The most interesting thing is that there were not so many of these insidious insects until relatively recently. More precisely, they have always been there, but they were no more dangerous than ordinary mosquitoes.

The climate is constantly changing after the ice age, the Earth is gradually warming up. Permafrost is thawing in Siberia, glaciers are melting. I think this is a natural process.
