Thai Vegetable Soup
I was engaged in the food photo shooting for a newly opened Thai restaurant. It was a nice job cause I could witness & taste a lot of different food from completely different tradition & culture with different ingredients. Even thou I don't eat fish not meat, I didn't stay hungry cause there were plenty vegetarian or vegan dishes presented.
This vegetable soup was very tasty as I remember. Spicy, thou, salty, sour & sweet. So many tastes blended together. In Thai kitchen, I noticed leak is widely used in many recipes & it was dominant in this soup too along with the celery, carrot & cabbage. There was chili for sure too! If I remember correctly there was a plum in the middle but I'm not sure anymore cause it was 2 years ago or more. I just surely remember it was very tasty!
About The Restaurant
If you're ever visiting Rijeka, Croatia & wish for some exotic spicy food, Sabai would be the perfect choice! Even thou recently they have changed the owner, hopefully they will keep the same or higher quality level. I've been there for a lunch few days ago eating something vegetarian & it was fine.
