Food Photography Challenge - Week 15 | "Capture, Click, Compete!"
INTRODUCTION
Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It typically comes from plants or animals, contains essential nutrients, and is ingested to sustain life and promote growth. Food serves various purposes beyond basic nutrition, it often plays a role in cultural traditions, social gatherings, and personal enjoyment.
The 6 classes of food are;
Carbohydrates
Protein
Vitamins
Mineral
fat and oil and
Water.
I had fried potatoes, sauce and tea for breakfast. That's was the only quick food I could prepare after service as it's Sunday morning. Immediately after Sunday service I got back home to make fried potatoes and egg sauce. I went to early morning mass which is 6am to 8am and we are done with mass, so I had the time to do all the cooking but I needed to have breakfast and rest before I commence with the other cooking.
The natural sweetness of sweet potatoes makes them a flavorful and slightly sweet alternative to traditional potato fries. Sweet potatoes are nutritious root vegetables that come in various colors, including orange, purple, and white. They are rich in vitamins, especially A and C, and provide a good source of fiber. Sweet potatoes are versatile and can be prepared in numerous ways, such as roasting, boiling, or mashing and frying.

I ate rice and stew and off course plantain for afternoon. They can't be rice and stew without plantain.My friends called me that they were coming and as a good cook I have to do the extreme. I boiled my rice, and made my stew with chicken. As you can see from the picture, the rice appeared single, that is I used a very good kind of rice to avoid sticking together. I used BIG BULL rice. After preparing the food, I had to arrange the room. I love to take pictures of my food expecially when it's made with so much love and time also when I'm make my favorite Sunday meal, I can't allow it pass with pictures.
I had fruit for evening, I already had enough already and I don't feel like eating anymore. The last time I checked my weight i was weighing more than normal so I'm trying to cut down my meal and also watch what I eat. After 7pm I avoid food. I can take fruits or water that has also helped me keep healthy.
