Black & White photography challenge #51

Lego of our ancestors.

It's pretty hard to write a 250 word post using just one photo, and this challenge involves posting one black and white photo with a brief description lol.

But nothing let's try to prove that such challenges are not a desire for an easy walk, but a responsible matter a kind of discipline that requires constancy.

Although no no one demands anything this is what is called self-discipline, sometimes it may seem like some kind of routine but due to the fact that new ideas come not everything is so sad, lol.

So I would say that this challenge is like a Lego building set where you add one unit to your post number like a building block.

Lego can also seem like a chore if you collect the same part all the time.

I wonder how our ancestors combined the game of Lego and everyday life.

Look at this photograph.

So our ancestors built houses from wooden logs and boards.

This house is built without a single nail, just like Lego structures.

You see a fastening structure called a dovetail in the corner of the house.

This method made it possible to fasten the walls of the house very tightly and securely and if necessary you could quickly dismantle the house and transport it to another piece of land, almost like Lego.

I photographed this house on one of the streets of our city.

Not many houses of that time have been preserved, but those that I saw look pretty decent today.

If you whitewash these boards with lime they will stand for many more decades although they are already about a hundred years old.
