Macro photography by Bambuka

All these photos were taken in the forest two hours ago. My faithful friend Sony A7M2 with optics 28-70 was with me. This is quite enough to do macro photography.

It was getting dark and the forest was getting gloomy. This means that there is little light for the macro. But there is one plus in this whole story. The last rays of the sun were breaking through the crowns and it was still quite light in the glades, but there were also shadows that created volume.

In fact, it was a golden hour, but in the forest, gold dissolves into greenery. And in macro, the gold of the sun is not always recognizable. But it's a soft enough light to avoid harsh shadows and contrasts.

Все эти фотографии сделаны в лесу два часа назад. Со мной был мой верный друг Sony A7М2 с оптикой 28-70. Этого вполне хватает, чтобы заниматься макросъёмкой.

Вечерело и в лесу становилось мрачновато. Это значит, что мало света для макро. Но есть один плюс во всей этой истории. Последние лучи солнца пробивались сквозь кроны и на полянах было ещё достаточно светло, но были и тени, которые создавали объём.

Фактически это был золотой час, но в лесу золото растворяется в зелени. Да и в макро золото солнца не всегда узнаваемо. Но это достаточно мягкий свет, чтобы избежать резких теней и контрастов.
