In search of a children's gift

You won't believe it, all these photos were taken at the mall. However, nothing unusual. Now it is fashionable to combine shopping malls with leisure and recreation centers. Of course, they suffered during the covid restrictions (it's inconvenient to drink coffee in a mask), but they stayed afloat. We came here to buy some children's gifts before going to visit.
It turns out that this is quite a difficult task. In the shopping center, of course, there is a children's department and even a few. Shelves are littered with various toys, games, anything, but there is nothing worthy of attention. I have never found such a childish thing about which I could say - "I really want to give this to my grandson."
As a result, we bought something. Among other things, there was a small globe with images of animals from all over the world and something else. But I digress.
Of course, I had a camera with me and I was shooting something. And it was more interesting than what we came for.
Вы не поверите, все эти фотографии сделаны в торговом центре. Впрочем, ничего необычного. Сейчас модно совмещать торговые центры с центрами досуга и отдыха. Конечно, они пострадали во время ковид-ограничений (неудобно пить кофе в маске), но удержались на плаву. Мы пришли сюда купить несколько детских подарков перед поездкой в гости.
Оказывается, это довольно сложная задача. В торговом центре, конечно, есть детский отдел и даже несколько. Полки завалены разными игрушками, играми, всем, чем угодно, но нет ничего, достойного внимания. Я так и не нашёл такую детскую вещь, про которую мог бы сказать - "я очень хочу подарить это своему внуку".
В результате мы что-то купили. В числе прочего был небольшой глобус с изображениями животных всего мира и что-то ещё. Но я отвлёкся.
Конечно, у меня была с собой камера и я что-то снимал. И это было интереснее чем то, зачем мы пришли.

Finally, we entered the department that I liked the most. It was a Leonardo store for children's (and not only) creativity. I used to be actively engaged in wooden sculpture. If I had come here then and what I saw was here, I would have definitely bought some "heads" and a skull. But now just photos are enough for me. If necessary, I can cut out looking at them.
Наконец мы зашли в отдел, который понравился мне больше других. Это был магазин "Леонардо" для детского (и не только) творчества. Раньше я активно занимался деревянной скульптурой. Если бы я тогда зашёл сюда и здесь было то, что я увидел, я бы обязательно купил несколько "голов" и череп. Но теперь мне достаточно просто фотографий. Если будет надо, я смогу вырезать глядя на них.
