Bird Kingdom

Today was the first really warm day of May.
I was lucky to be on the shore of the Gulf of Finland in the realm of birds.
Last year's reeds create a yellowish background.
The air is filled with vapour and a translucent haze is created.





There are a lot of seagulls in this place.
Some of them are already sitting on their nests.
Some of them are soaring in the sky, and others are just resting.
And they're all enjoying the warmth of the sun.
I sunbathed a bit too, for the first time this year.

But the fishermen returned to the shore dissatisfied.
The fish were sluggish and did not want to be hooked.
