Sphex Pensylvanicus
Sphex Pensylvanicus
Everyone knows that pollination of flowering plants is usually carried out by insects such as butterflies, wasps and bees. And this time I want to share the black wasp that is pollinating jasmine flowers. Wasps have an interest like other insects in flowering plants. Sphex pensylvanicus is a large black wasp and is a species of digger wasp and usually makes holes in the ground.
Wasps are a species of insect that is very beneficial for the environment because it can help the pollination process for plants and is very useful for the continuity of the ecosystem. It turns out that the types of insects that pollinate most plants are wasps and bees. Even though wasps are beneficial for the environment, their existence is very unfavorable if they are too close to an environment where there are humans.
This large, bluish-black wasp regularly consumes nectar and pollen. Actually, these big black wasps are not a type of wasp that is evil and dangerous, they really avoid humans and are not annoying. It's just that they will react and fight against something that could threaten them. So looking is better and wiser than touching the insect. Hope you like it and thanks for visiting my blog.
