Trigona is one of the largest genera of stingless bees. Trigona Honey Bees are often found in tropical or subtropical areas. These bees are physically smaller when compared to ordinary bees. And what is most unique about the trigona honey bee is that this small insect does not have a sting. Maybe because they don't have stings, trigona bees don't seem as vicious as other bees. Trigona honey bees really like small flowers, because of their small shape, trigona honey bees can easily get into small flowers around their colony.
