MacroPhotography Challenge Week 3 "Beautiful Herlequin Bug"
Herlequin Bug
Herlequin Bug
A round, convex shield-shaped insect with a shiny metallic orange color. Everyone knows this insect as the hibiscus herlequin bug or cotton herlequin bug, they come from the genus Tectocoris. There are several types and shades of colors that I have found such as orange, red, blue and green. But the orange color looks very exclusive.
This type of ladybug is one of the most beautiful with metallic colors on its body. The colors that look very bright are reflections of light reflection. I found this ladybug playing on the flower plants in my yard. This beetle has a very attractive and beautiful appearance with a blend of orange on its body and a green head. This beetle is not very aggressive, just walking slowly among the leaves and plants. So there is no difficulty for me to take many angles of the picture.
The ladybugs seems docile to humans, maybe because people don't see this insect as an enemy, on the contrary it is a fun animal because it has a beautiful and unique color. It's always fun to meet ladybugs, I love the metallic colors on their bodies. Ladybugs are known as environmentally friendly insects because these insects do not harm humans. They eat small insects or caterpillars that like to disturb the leaves of the farmers' plants. Indeed, ladybugs are often found in areas close to rice fields. Hope you like it and thanks for visiting my blog.
