Architectural Photography Week - 14 || The Oldest Mosque Tower
From The South Corner
From The South Corner
Everyone knows that this place is a very sacred place for the people of Aceh. Baiturrahman Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Indonesia. The mosque was built before Indonesia's independence, namely during the Dutch colonial period. A classic style mosque with a Middle Eastern concept, which has many domes.
It's a bit strange because I won't export the entire building of this mosque, because I think this mosque is very familiar and famous for its very beautiful buildings. I will show the southern part of the mosque courtyard. Seen from a distance is a very tall tower against a blue sky background. Coincidentally, when I took the picture the weather was very hot, the sky was blue and clean with white clouds. I like this image even though it seems simple.
