Hello greetings to everyone I happy to take part in this contest. Teachers are really important in the society because they change lives, inspire dreams, and push the limits of human potential. Teachers truly are the backbone of society. They are role models to children, and give young people the power of education. Because of teachers, countries are able to further develop socially and economically.

My favourite teacher back in secondary school was our Geology teacher. His name is Mr Jean Claude. He is one of the best and favourite teacher to most students because he teaches very well. Not only that, the way he teaches makes students to like him. He is very simple and lively and when teaching , he makes the environment conducive for all.

He is my favourite teacher because he makes that what heis teaching goes through all the students. He understands students' problems and always provides them with a helping hand.
He explains everything with examples and makes every concept so interesting to learn for students. We students love to attend his class because he is very understanding. He covers each topic in detail and gives his full attention in class. And also, each time when he come to class hell make a review of what was taught last class to refresh our brains. He is also taught us on how to study , gave us reading techniques which helped us eventually.

He is young , intelligent and very smart. He is always prepared and ready to answer any question in his subject. He also has a positive attitude towards students. One thing I also loved about him is that he is able to adjust his teaching strategies to fit both the students and the material, recognizing that different students learn in different ways.
He is also prayerful. I remember when we were about to write the General certificate exams, after our last revision class, we prayed together and he asked us to study hard so we can make our parents and teachers proud of us. No doubt that year our school scored a hundred percent in Geology.

Mr Claude I want to take this time to appreciate you for all you have done for me I will never forget. You inspired me and made me develop love for learning . I enjoyed every minute of your class as well as your marvelous sense of humor. I will never forget your good work.
