"Steemit Engagement Challenge | S7W4 | A Meeting with The President ".
Hello, friends of steem for the blogger's community. It is a Tactical and special initiative to hear steemians' views on their opinion to make suggestions on the betterment of the governance system of their countries. I am a Nigerian and I love my country.
It will be a great opportunity for me to meet with the president of the federal republic of Nigeria to tell him about my proposals which will help to promote peaceful coexistence in the country and as aswell bring development to the country.
The Nigerian practices a democratic system of governance, the Nigerian arms of government include the Legislature, Executive, and Judiciary. The presidential branch incorporates the president and his bureau, and the different offices and leading organizations. The administrative branch comprises the two places of Congress, the Senate and the Place of Agents, and their staff. The legal branch incorporates the High Court and other government courts. These bodies are liable for navigation and execution.
Nigeria has a system that governs its affairs but yet there are some loopholes in the governing system. I shall not focus on discussing the problems of my country but on some analyses of the prevailing issues and on my suggestion to the presidency on some ways to have a better Nigeria🇳🇬.
If I have the opportunity to meet with the president in person, the following will be my kindle proposals for the presidency. My address will be directed to the president.
- 🇳🇬Strategies for Settling Multi-ethnic and Religious Differences
One of the big problems we have in the country is the lack of understanding between the ethnic groups and the religious in the country, it is not the best option for the government to have direct interference in the dealings of these entities.
Nigeria has a very large number of ethnic groups who have different ideologies and ways of behavior, Nigeria practices Christian and Muslim religions and a little traditionalism aswell. These religious and ethnic groups have their ways of believing which indirectly superseded the rule of law. They have their government and advocates and all are ready to die and kill for each other, the strategies to settle these differences are the first step to a peaceful existence.
Mr. President, the root of other escalated issues of crises in the country is failing to curb this entity's differences and misunderstanding, it is not the best idea to interfere in this entity's clash with authority or force, but I will advise the government to employee empowerment and dialogue with the leaders of the entities, create a room that will settle the differences.
- 🇳🇬Reducing Corruption
Nigeria is said to be corrupt in her dealings and administrations, it is the fight that every administration is trying to reduce or eliminate. I know there are many ways and strategies that the government is putting in place to curb corruption, but corruption those not have much effect on the few rich individuals but on many individuals.
Corruption is by opportunity not by chance, the train of financial movements from the Budget stream to the workers has to pass through a process and set individual before getting to the workers. Some of these processes should be bridged, when there is a limitation to the flow of wealth through a lot of processes, there will be a limitation to the opportunity of looting funds.
- 🇳🇬The voice of the masses
There is a big gap between the rich and the poor in the country, that is because there is no intense communication between the government and the masses. The only way the masses felt their voice can be heard is through Protests and riots.
If the gap of communication is covered, and the cries of the poor are met up with, the government will have a smooth running. There will be no or fewer criminals. There should be an opportunity for the mass to write directly to the higher authority and their plea to be responded to.
The administration is not only run by the president alone but by his cabinet, if there are good cabinets, the administration of the government will be smooth running.

To address the gap between the rich and poor, the you suggests improving communication between the government and the masses and providing an avenue for the masses to directly communicate with higher authorities.

It is actually so easy, if only they want to listen to the voice of the mass.
But yah, who are we to say what we want and make them listen.
