"Steemit Engagement Challenge | S7W1 | My Personality Growth in 2022".

It's another beautiful day for me to take part in steemit engagement challenge season7.and today it's time for me to participate in the contest organized by this noble community on the topic "My Personality Growth in 2022". 2022 was indeed a great year for me, even though I went through a lot both good and bad, God has been so faithful to me. Being alive from the beginning of the year to the end it's not by my strength but it's by the grace which my creator bestowed on me and I will forever be grateful to him.

Despite my schedule in the year 2022, I always try my best to look good not just that but I always do my daily exercise just to keep fit. One of the things I don't joke with is my health so I try as much as possible to eat good food and also drink enough water because water is life, and it helps in strengthening the immune system.

In the year 2022, I was able to archive numerous things among which are, completing my service,(NYSC) enrolling myself in a chef school, and also getting a job to support my family and myself. I came to Kwara State Nigeria for my service at first the land was not favorable for me at all because that was the first time I travel far away from my hometown. After some months I began to adapt to the environment make new friends and also learned about their culture and food.

During my service year, I was opportune to enroll myself in one of the best culinary schools here in Kwara state where I did my training for three months after the training I was certified as a chef. It has always been my dream to become a chef and hopefully, I did that in 2022.

After my service that was around October 2022, I applied for a job in one of the companies here in Kwara State, and hopefully, I was called for an interview, reaching there the population of people at the interview where much and I almost gave up but I decided to give it try. The interview went well and after some weeks they still called me for the second face of the interview which I went and I was lucky enough to pass the interview.

Immediately I was enrolled for a month of training in the company and the case of the training, I came out among the best CCRs for that month. then an appointment letter was given to me to start work. That day was one of my best days in Kwara state I was not expecting those good things but as I said God has been faithful to me this very year 2022.

Over the years, I fought with myself against controlling my emotions and how I react when I am angry. What many people lack is tolerance and how they react when they are upset, I come to discover that your reaction and behaviors toward other people define your personality.

I am the type that normally speaks my mind instantly whenever I am angry, at that point, I do speak harshly, with a loud voice, and sometimes may even shout a little at someone to clear off my mind when I am angry. At that moment I may succeed in correcting the person's mistakes but that individual will tag me as a very rude person. I may not know I was rude because my mood was controlled by the state of my anger.

But hey! Note that it is very dangerous to act, react, or make decisions when you are angry or sad. I also come to discover that one mistake covers thousand of good you may have done before people. I decided within myself to adjust my reaction toward people when I am upset.

I discipline myself to just overlooked anyone who intentionally and un-intentionally gets me angry, I smile over it and walk away then on a very good day, I meet the individual to correct and make amend politely and gently. That singular behavioral change saves me a lot of respect and reputation. My current job thought me a lot of lessons which curtails tolerance and many individuals. I hope you learned something👌

In January 2022, I was lonely no friends, and no one to talk to. I was always in my room, not until they brought one female copper to our school her name is Esther since she came in February we became friends, I visit her and she also visits me. We always keep her self-company because she was also new in the State. After my service year, I also made lovely friends at my working place and this set of people make my stay in Ilorin so sweet and enjoyable. We work as a team and always support each other in all aspects of life. I have learned a lot from them and am so grateful to God that our paths crossed.

In conclusion, my personal growth in 2022, was indeed a success and I thank God that it went well. I wish to invite my friends to come and participate in this contest.@ishayachris @mjerry and @dave-hanny
