If I read you I think the word friend is used too easily. We know more than one person but even though we share a part of our lives with them that doesn't mean they are our best friend or a true friend.
Friendship does change once we get older. Those friends we had at school changed and so do we. It will be hard to be always present to a friend in need, but it isn't impossible if we want to.
The hardest thing is to keep a friendship equal and ,be able to be honest even if the words said are hurtful. If you can't be honest to the one most dear to you, to whom can you?
