Hey Steemian friends!

I’m someone who was born in the late 80s and I've seen the waves of technological evolution in my life. Remember the good old days of waiting for Windows XP to boot up! and then refresh the system numerous times just to see everything works fine without a lag 🤣 those 100MB floppy disks, and the brick size mobile phones? Ah, the nostalgia! From those humble beginnings, we've sprinted into an era of AI, or rather the era of SMART everything. This is a good time to discuss how it's shaping or making my life SMART.

👉 What was the technological news that impacted you the most in 2023? Let's talk about it.

Probably the news about Artificial Intelligence. Actually, 2023 dropped a tech bomb that altered my professional life entirely! AI is now my sidekick in crafting creative campaigns that I couldn’t even imagine before. The time saved and the boundless ideas unleashed are mind-boggling. It's like having a digital genie fulfilling all my wishes. Ask Midjourney to create pictures or ask ChatGPT to give ideas for a marketing campaign. Everything seems possible for me even at this point where I've seen only the 1% possibilities of AI. As of my experience now, AI can entirely take over all the operations and all we need is a human mind to think where everything should fit.

👉 Is there an impact on society? And tell the possible advantages of this technological advancement.

I would say, Massive! Efficiency and effectiveness are the biggest factors. No more human error hiccups or hours of planning. Now you almost have an assistant who could do almost anything in terms of knowledge. No more searching Google links for hours to get the correct answer. The next decade seems destined for even grander things. Imagine a world where Cybertruck moves with robots and AI helping us to propel into the future. It's both thrilling and a tad scary, but hey, change is the only constant and everything is changing pretty fast.

👉 If you could venture into a technological advance (medicine, entertainment, daily life, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies), what would that area be and why?

Hmm.. technological advance, I would choose artificial intelligence. A personalized AI assistant that not only enhances my daily life but also aligns with my lifestyle. From managing tasks to suggesting weekend activities, it's the tech companion I never knew I needed. Siri & Alexa does it already, but a slight enhancement from AI would bring that to the next level. Every decision would be reconsidered and would have a positive impact. With AI, I believe every other aspect on the list will automatically improve.

👉 Finally, what do you expect the year 2024 to be like in terms of technological advances and news?

2024 going to be insane! 🚀 The release of the Apple Virtual Reality headset and the monstrous Tesla Cybertrucks has me on the edge of my seat. Also, I'm crossing my fingers for more governments to embrace cryptocurrencies. After the Bitcoin halving I expect to see 100K mark finally on Bitcoin and that'll change the finance sector. The world seems to be hurtling towards a sci-fi reality where average folks like me might someday live on the moon in my retirement. While these tech marvels might not be in our hands anytime soon, their rapid arrival hints at a future beyond our wildest dreams.
