Most parents are good, with a few outliers. Exceptions can't be examples, right? Most of our parents belong to "The Baby Boomer Gen- (1946-1964)" or Gen- X (1965-1980). Their mindset while raising us was different from today's time—there was a fair amount of affection, strictness, and scolding. Back then, there was no concept of children having rights or the concerns we see today on social media about parental behavior leading to legal consequences.
Now, let's talk about me. I belong to the "Millennials Generation (1981-1996)." I was raised similarly to what I mentioned earlier. However, as a mother now, I can't adopt the same parenting style. Why? Because of social media. I believe that using harsh words or strict behavior could negatively impact my toddler.I find useful parenting suggestions on Facebook. But Ultimately each parent must decide what's best for their kids.

The strict behaviour of parents has both sides of advantages and disadvantages.According to me they are :
✔️Advantages:
Discipline and Structure: Strict parenting can instill discipline and structure in a child's life. Clear boundaries help children understand the consequences of their actions.
Responsibility: A strict upbringing can teach responsibility and accountability, as children learn to take ownership of their choices.
✔️Disadvantages:
Fear and Anxiety: Excessive strictness can lead to fear and anxiety in children. Constant fear of punishment may hinder their emotional and psychological well-being.
Rebellion: Strict parenting may lead to rebellion. Children might rebel against rules they perceive as unjust, potentially leading to strained parent-child relationships.
Limited Creativity: Overly strict environments may stifle a child's creativity and independence as they may fear making mistakes.

Facing strictness as a child can evoke a range of emotions. Fear, frustration, and hostility may occur. Miscommunication and harsh treatment can lower children's self-esteem. The emotional toll could affect their mental health, so parents must combine discipline with emotional care.

During my childhood , I always wanted my parents not to scold me, only affection, ha ha ha. Now, as roles reverse in the tapestry of time, I find myself standing beside them as a caregiver, embracing the responsibility with an open heart. The occasional scolding, once a part of my upbringing, now carries the weight of shared history and enduring connection. In their aging faces, I witness the imprints of a life well-lived, and every moment spent together becomes a cherished jewel in the mosaic of our shared journey. As time marches forward, I hold onto these moments, savoring the fragility of time and the preciousness of the present, knowing that our connection transcends the roles of parent and child.

Emotional blackmailing involves manipulating someone through emotional means, and its negative effects on children include:
Low Self-Esteem: Constant manipulation can lead to a child having low self-esteem, as they may feel unimportant or incapable.
Difficulty in Trusting: The utilization of emotional manipulation can gradually diminish a child's capacity to place trust in others, ultimately affecting their interpersonal connections over time.
Emotional Distress: Long-term emotional blackmail can cause anxiety, despair, and discomfort.
In conclusion, parents must balance discipline and emotional support to effectively nurture their children while identifying and addressing their specific needs and emotions.
Thank you, friend!

Hello friend
Indeed you shared how strictness by parents could increase sense of responsibility in kids while driving hard in making them disciplined and maintaining a good structure in their basic lifestyle. On the other hand it could instigate fear and anxiety in these kids too making them feel scared when then think about their parents too, it also triggers rebellion in these kids too making them want to revolt against their parents too. There is also Possibility that there would also be lack of creativity in these kids too. Success in the challenge my dear friend
Hola!
