The movie life of pi is an Hollywood adventure movie released in 2012. The movie produced by Ang lee, Gil netter, David vomark and directed by Ang lee and written by David magee. It is a fictional story that is based on Yann Martel's novel of the same name that released in 2001.
The main character in the film is played by an Indian actor Irfan Khan as pi۔ Basically the movie started in the Indian city pondicherry where our favourite actor irfan Khan meet with an writer sent by his uncle He started telling him his story which is unbelievable for writer but he wanted to hear.
Irfan explain to him, that his mamu helped him how to swin and he gave him a name passin pateil inspired by fresh swimming pool. Many classmates used to tease him by his name. One day he explained the formula of pi and then they started calling him pi.
pi was an innocent 14/15 year old boy who believed in all faiths, who loved animals. And he got scared when his father showed him that animals are not our friends. Whenever they are hungry, they will eat us.
Pi's father had different kind of animals in zoo but he was not the owner of area. So he sold them in America and then shifted with whole family to canada. Before leaving India he fell in love with a women named Aanandi. But he left her when they travelled in a ship.
The ship goes on its way but suddenly rain started outside and he went to the open area of ship for enjoying the moment. In a little time, that rain changed into dangerous storm and water filled in ship he went inside to save lives of his family but the helper took him in lifeboat and an animal zebra fell into that boat.
Boat floated on that pacific ocean( the largest and deepest of eath's five oceanic divisions), the next day he saw there was also a bangial tiger in the boat and also a hyena. He first killed zebra to satisfy his hunger, pi wanted to save zebra but he did not save.
Days turn into weeks and weeks into months, he didn't reached any ireland and lived with that dangerous tiger in that deep sea with the hope that he'll survive all these problems and come out from that.
one day he reached a greenish ireland which was full of vegetables and mongoose and sweet water but that ireland changed into acids at night time so they did not live there for a long time and they went to the boat. With the time they both understand each other.
Pi was vegetarian but there was noting to eat except fish. So despite being vegetarian he ate fish to live.
After bad days, they finally reached at mexico beach and from all these problems they found a source to live again. Tiger left him without saying good bye and the story ends here.
