You parents were strict to you and you give them the credit that they make you the real human. I do believe that the strictness from the parents is just because for the betterment of the the child. Non of the parents would do it to harm their child or something like that.

Ofcourse it has many advantages and sometime disadvantages when parents are strict to their children, but for me advantages are far more than that of disadvantages.
