Genesis Reventon Hotel

Samson was sent by his boss on an official assignment to port harcourt and got there very late at night and decided to lodge in the ”Genesis Reventon hotel”

From what he was told, Genesis Hotels provides a clear mark of distinction from check-in to check-out, offering a unique hospitality experience that is second to none. The friend who directed him there was not far from the truth. The rooms are spacious and a bright guest room with tasteful furnishing, wooden floor and panoramic windows from the ceiling to the floor. Whoever is the interior decorator in charge of this hotel really knows his work because he actually left a memorable impression on Samson’s mind. The good part about this is that it didn’t take Samson up to 45 minutes from the airport to get to the hotel that night.

He slept off that night and woke up quite late the next morning. Thank God is weekend, Samson said to himself , I get to spend more time on my bed and have fun after the hustle and bustle from Monday to Friday. A stroll around the neighborhood this early morning would do me some good. The hotel is located in a serene environment in GRA Port Harcourt. He took some pictures in the morning to show some of his friends and also love the reflection of the rising golden sun as it shined on the city. Indeed, port harcourt is blessed.

Shoprite

Since Samson will be staying couple of days before heading back to Lagos, he decided to get some stuff from Port Harcourt mega supermarket ”shoprite” ShopRite is a popular supermarket with around 25 stores across Nigeria and recently opened a branch in port harcourt making it the biggest so far. A lot of people rush to the store because their stuff are less expensive and it has helped a lot especially this period of high inflation in the country. They have a trade fair even coming up. I won’t miss such an opportunity to come and shop as much as possible.

While coming back samson couldn’t help but notice two helicopter mounted as a monument in front of a big gate. Samson been an inquisitive person by nature asked the bolt driver, ”which place is this?” He replied this is the ”Airforce base” I felt a sense of security. That we have the airforce over here to fight for us and to combat any terrorist that will want to trespass.

Portharcourt Pleasure Park

Samson had gone back to the hotel to drop his shopping items and felt a bit bored staying in the room all day watching movies. He Decided explore the net to check out places he could chill out. Among all the suggestions he saw while surfing on the net, he chose “Port Harcourt Pleasure Park. On getting there Samson was amazed at the recreational activities there. The park reminded him of his childhood experiences, seeing the different games and obstacles for both children and adults. It has a wonderful international restaurant, 5 star cinema, motor and boat ride and lots more. It’s indeed a tourist destination.

Presidential Hotel

After all the fun, Samson wanted a different hotel experience and located ”Presidential Hotel” This is the biggest hotel in port harcourt and it is located in the heart of the Garden City - Port Harcourt, less than an hour drive from the international and domestic airport. The hotel is an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. This is the first five star hotel Samson have ever stayed. Indeed, during his stay there, he felt like a president after the presidential treatment he got. All thanks to his boss at work who made all expenses and trips possible.

Night has come, Samson had to sleep early to prepare for the official assignment that brought him to port harcourt in the first place.
