Hello creative Steemians and welcome to another exciting contest week brought to us by Steem4bloggers on and interesting topic VEGANS VS NON-VEGANS

Vegans are also known as Vegetarians who live a diet strictly on vegetables and do not eat animals or the products, and they are two types of Vegans which i will be sharing with us and there are also non vegans who it animals and the products.
Below is my view on this topic.

Are you VEGAN OR NON-VEGAN?

Vegans are also known as Vegetarians and they are individual that do not eat Animals and we have two classes of Vegans/ Vegetarians which includes:

  • Strict Vegetarian :
    This are individual that doesn't eat animals and the products of this animals such as meat, fish, beef, milk, oils, eggs etc but strictly base their diet on vegetables and fruits.

  • Lacto-ovo Vegetarian
    this are individual who do not eat animals but eat the products of animals such as Milk, cheese eggs and so much more.

  • We have non-Vegans;
    This individual eat both animals and the products and also Vegetables in their diet..

I will classify myself as a Non Vegan because i eat products of animals and the animals itself and also i eat vegetables as well.

Which one is a more healthier choice and how?(To be a VEGAN or NON-VEGAN)

I will choose Vegans as a more healthier choice especially the Strict Vegan/Vegetarians because.

  • Vegans eat mostly vegetables in their diet and we all know that vegetables is very important and necessary in our diets as it strengthen the blood vessels and system, it makes us look fresh, a person leaving on vegetables hardly falls ill with any complications

  • But eating animals or the products some of them can be harmful to our system sometimes for example high cholesterol level and so many other unhealthy symptoms caused by taking some of this Animals and their products most especially beef affect the old and so much more.

Share picture of any dish you have prepared and tell us about its ingredients(So that we may know that today you are enjoying VEGAN or NON-VEGAN food)p

I prepare jollof rice and the ingredients used in preparing the rice includes

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • half cup ground nut oil
  • Seasoning ( salt, ginger, garlic, curry)
  • 1 boiled egg

The jollof rice could be eaten by both Non Vegans and Vegans.
Vegans can eat the jollof rice But if the strict Vegan want to eat they can remove the eggs.

Lacto-ovo Vegetarian can eat the jollof rice because the eat the products of animals not the flesh. in this case that egg is a product of animals they can eat without problems.

Good day my fellows steemians I have read through your post and there are certain facts have come to understand before now I never knew what classes of vegans people may belong but now from your post I've discovered that we have about three types of vegans we have those that are strictly vegans, we have lacto ovo vegans and we have none vegans so I have learned that you are a non vegan, so I'm I being a vegan is very hard I could not even imagine staying a day without eating meat but I think those who are lacto vegans could be these because of some severe medical conditions which could include, diabetes and heart failure. so that is why they advice to stay away from red-meat due to its high cholesterol and it tend to take milk and egg which helps in curtailling most of those health condition. My dear I have learned a lot from your write up, hope to read more from you. Good luck on the contest
