Who created the first cryptocurrency, and when?

The first cryptocurrency was created by Satoshi Nakamoto. According to my little research, he said Satoshi Nakamoto is not known by anyone yet and hence nobody knows if he is an individual or a group of individuals.

Over the years many people or persons have come out to say that they are the said Satoshi Nakamoto but none has brought out tangible evidence with regards to that yet. So the mystery of who created the Crypto asset is still unknown.

The asset was created in the year 2009 and from that time till now we have also witnessed the creation of thousands of more crypto assets in the world.

Are cryptocurrencies controlled by governments or financial institutions?

Cryptocurrency is majorly controlled by financial institutions because they are the ones with more liquidation when compared to others. Liquidation is usually provided by the bank and other financial institutions so they control the crypto market more.

If you watch carefully where these big boys trade, they always cause much liquidation in the market because those who don't trade in their direction once they enter the market lose a lot of money and those who trade in their direction make a lot of money within a short time.

Anytime these people go into the market you either see a sudden rise or sudden fall in the market which causes liquidation in the market.

What are some of the risks associated with investing in cryptocurrencies?

You may lose all your money if the market goes against you. You may also lose your capital if the project fails in any way. So you need to do proper research before going into any crypto project in that way you will be on a safer side.
