Engagement Challenges VS Ordinary Contests

Hello, my steemit friends, today I'm happy to write about this contest organized by @steemdoctor1 which says Engagement Challenges VS Ordinary Contests. It is indeed an interesting contest because it reminds me a lot about both of them.

I have not been too active on the platform due to my schedule and that is the reason I will be writing based on my little experience on the platform so far. I have been privileged to participate in both hence I will answer the question below.

Which type of contest do you prefer more, Ordinary or Engagement Contests? Why, give reasons?

I prefer the ordinary contest and the reason is that in the engagement challenge, you see many people participating in one contest and the chances of seeing your post and even voting it is very slim.

A few times, I participated in the engagement but I didn't get any support at all. Those who are ahead always getting good votes but for those of us coming up, we hardly see the reward. This made me lose hope in participating due to the population.

On the other hand, the ordinary contest has not had many participants and you can be a winner here unlike the engagement. You will need to work the extra mile in other to be a winner of the contest. Here you will see a contest with a maximum of 30-40 entries which leaves you with the opportunity to be able to win. This is the reason I prefer the ordinary contest to the engagement challenge.

Which contest do you think are more rewarding?

I have seen rewards in both the engagement and the ordinary contest and I must say that the steemit team supports the engagement mostly since it's a project they organize themselves.

Contests are hosted by individuals and hence participants only see small curators' support only a few get support from the big curators. So, therefore, in my opinion, the engagement challenge is more rewarding than the normal contest since participants are voted by the big curators.

Tell us about your favorite ordinary contest organizer. Also, tell us about your favorite community in Engagement Challenges.

Well, my favorite ordinary contest organizer is my mentor @simonnwigwe he is one person I admire so much and will like to be like as I continue to steem on. He organizes interesting contest that makes sense. You don't need to make much research on his contest because he normally talks about things that happen in our everyday lives.

Even a newbie who has not blogged before can be able to attempt his contest because he breaks everything in a language everyone can understand. His rules for the contests are also very clear which makes it easy for anyone to understand.

In terms of my favorite community in the engagement challenge, I prefer the steem entrepreneur community and the reason is that the community offers me the opportunity to advertise my father's business. I remember writing a contest where I have to review an electronic shop which is the business done by my father.

I'm certain it is a means of making known the businesses around my area and that is the main reason I like the community.
