What is Witness?
There is no such thing as "Steemit Witness", but the term prayer is connected with the Blockchain system in Steem. And to be seen, the Steem blockchain requires a crowd of people working in unison to create and store information about their work in the form of blocks. And this work is called the Delegated Proof of Stake and simply we can say DPOS.
I want to say some more things about the witness of the Blockchain system. It's also a kind of mining but there is a difference between the mining of another coin with the blockchain system. The other crypto mining platforms give 100% but as a witness, we receive the 10% of our daily mining. It is a reasonable income and hype. So now we will talk about it widely.
In my own words, the Witness doesn't mean mining but it's all about the validation. And there is a great need to rebuild the blocks in detail and complete information. Now the first block is created and there is a need to create the next block for the Blockchain and this all depends on Proof Of Work.
Role of Witness in Blockchain
Any witness needing to run a reliable note alone is of great importance and it is also important to maintain an accurate price feed. And so the time token must be valid to maintain the price of Steem Dollar. A witness such as running a node that is using every node must be generally agreed upon because there is currently no agreement on the matter of curation rewards that anyone can create in their own way. A block is created by a miner and by working as a witness.

First, open the Steemworld it will ask us to log in there after that we see the option Witness Overview Now click here for more options about the witness. Let's see in the picture.
Now we can see some of these witnesses and their other detail like Rank, version, and price feed. etc.
