In this week it is a really enjoyable week as we can talk about our favorite song. As we all love entertainment sometimes we have our favorite songs that entertain us and that make us feel happy and delighted. From this article I will share my favourite song and the reasons for that.

In 2022 many songs were released in Sinhala. There are many songs that I loved most. The favorite song of mine is "Numbai Mage". It is a song done by the famous artist couple Windy and Sanuka. The Singer is a Female artist named"Windy Gunathilake." It is an open song.

The song was first released in Tamil even though she is a Sinhala singer and then the Sinhala version of the song was also done by the end of December 2022. The song went viral in India, Bangladesh and many other countries as it was Tamil for the first time by a Sinhala Singer.

Write about the singer of that song.

The Singer is Windy Gunathilake who is the second daughter of Rookantha Gunathilake, A famous singer. She was born on 26 th of December 1997. She was born in Colombo ,Srilanka and currently she lives in New york ,USA. But after she got married to a well singer Sanuka Wickramasinghe she lives moslty in SriLanka.

She is also the sister of the female singer Raini Charuka. She used to sing her Mother's songs who is also a famous singer. Then when she finishes her Academic work she started creating her own songs and did the visuals for them. Then she did the Ayyo Saami song by coordinating with her husband.

The song's lyrics impressed me a lot. This song lyrics were published by a website and I have attached an image of it as I don't have the Sinhala font to write the song.

The song speaks about the tradgedy of a lady who was cheated by her husband. After few years of suffering she has decided to leave the husband as he is not caring the wife.

The song expresses how she suffered from this cheating man. She reminds the man of how this man first dated the girl and what fairy words that he told to her before getting married. But after getting married he has started dating other girls and neglected this girl.

The music and the lyrics were done by the singer's husband Sanuka Wickramasinghe. The music and the lyrics had the chemistry that the audience get the tragic feeling in a heart touching way. The singer is not in the mood to cry but the tragic expressions are indirectly expressed.
