if seen from a distance, maybe we would not think that the white color of the beach comes from shells. Therefore, this beach is filled with shells, As far as I know there are only a few beaches that have this phenomenon, one of which is located in the western part of Indonesia.

The shells scattered on this beach are the Bivalve type or shellfish. The emergence of shells on the beach is due to their population growing rapidly due to the high salt levels in seawater, So that they can thrive without predators preying on them in salty sea waters.

As time goes by, their numbers are increasing. The big waves are carried by the ocean currents to the edge, finally they gather to form a beach or coral mound. The length of this collection of shell beaches reaches 500 to 1000 meters.

In addition to being filled with shells, the beach also presents calm and very clear water, especially accompanied by the gentle wind, of course we have to wear sandals so that the shells do not hurt the soles of our feet when passing through the pile of shells.
