Good day my friends and everyone in the community, it's been a grateful day to participate in this enlightened topic about blockchain.

INTRODUCTION

I have come to notice that a lot of people now show interest in learning about cryptocurrency and blockchain and from my little experience, I know there's a lot of profits in it.

Our main discussion for today is to enlighten our knowledge about blockchain components, TEST-NET AND MAINNET. This topic will favour those who participate in crypto airdrop and mining. I think this the time to learn about how cryptocurrency is been launched and the procedures.

The difference is very clear, I mean, from the name, TEST-NET, we can say, it's in practical, on a testing stage, while MAINNET is when the testing level is over.

That's to say a testnet is a blockchain that is used only for testing purposes, while a mainnet is the live, operational version of a blockchain. During the testnet stage, they will experiment new features and fix bugs without affecting the main blockchain. So once the developers are satisfied with the results of the testnet, they will now launch the mainnet. Testnet is just like a beta version while mainnet is the final version of the blockchain.

COMMON EXAMPLE

Just like when you want to post on steemit, if your using the steemit app, after pasting your content, if you scroll upward, you'll see how your post will look like after it's been posted (preview), you may decide to correct a mistake if any or to format your text. After cross-checking everything you now press the POST button to post it. The same thing happened to Testnet and mainnet.

Testnet is like pasting your content and cross-checking (previewing) if there's an error while mainnet is after you have finalize and posted it. I believe it's clear. So once the features have been tested and refined on the testnet, they're been added to the mainnet to make sure the mainnet is stable.

Yes I do and I must say, this is the first time I participate in Testnet in blockchain. I have been looking for any way I can make Money online until I come across mining crypto everyday and participating in airdrop.

From the screenshot you can see that the value is $7.4670.

Note that this amount doesn't have any value right now untill MAINNET.

OEX is running a testnet right now and it's encourages their participants to make at least 10 transaction everyday. In this process you're expected to transfer token to different users using your wallet for ease transaction during mainnet.

Like I said, OEX is my first testnet I have joined and about it reward, am waiting patiently for it. You can see that it's has $7 plus right now, who knows how much the value will be on the mainnet.

My hope is, it's should have value from 2$ to 5$. All the best, I will wait patiently.
