As I am currently at home on winter break, I am getting a chance to explore the plantations in my rural area. And at the same time I can get a lot of idea about the crops produced by the people of rural Bengal. And I am trying to share them with you so that you do not know and understand the hard work of the farmers of this village of Bengal and the crops grown through their hard work.

Today's blog is totally different i.e. totally about agricultural work i.e. farmers. Today I will try to present to you how hard a farmer produces such beautiful crops in his fields. I will try to present to you how much effort and struggle they have behind the production of these crops. We can never understand the hardships of the farmers because we only buy from the market i.e. we buy their labors in exchange for money. So never try to understand where and how they come from and who contributes the most behind it. Our farmers are the hardest working and backward in the world today, because they never get their fair price despite their hard work. Some syndicate traders did not earn huge money from the middle.

Yesterday I went to one of our land in Bamundi village of Gangni Thana of Meherpur district to enjoy the beautiful nature of village Bengal and gained a lot of knowledge while going there and enjoyed the natural beauty to my heart's content and took some photography for youI have already presented and tried to explain the beauty of this crop of flowers in the nature of rural Bengal. The flowers you see in the picture are the sun pumpkin flowers. You may be impressed by the beauty of this flower, but many of us may not know how much work a farmer has to do until this flower comes. It was while I was trying to learn by talking to the farmer that he gave me a little insight into the cultivation method of this sun pumpkin flower. And also shared with me about his hard work which I was really surprised to hear how hard a farmer has to produce this crop which we get with some money. That is why we should always give farmers their rightful value and hold them in the highest place of respect

What a farmer told me about this sun gourd cultivation, he told me first that sun gourd seedlings are first grown in the nursery as plants about 10 to 12 inches tall which are placed in a polybag. After that, large areas of land have to be prepared for large-scale cultivation, which increases the fertility of the soil through various organic fertilizers. After preparing the soil of the land, these seedlings should be planted. And before planting the saplings, you must understand the condition of the soil or land, that is, plant them on high ground so that water does not accumulate. And that's why sun pumpkins are mainly cultivated in winter because if there is no rain at this time, the water accumulates in it and the plants are saved from being damaged.

And winter is suitable for good yield of sun pumpkin. Then he told me, prepare the land and plant the trees in a row. The distance from one tree to another tree should be 5 to 7 cm. By doing this, a tree will get more space and grow well. After that, every day and once a week, you should see if any weeds have grown around the plant. And if they grow, they should be cleaned. Also, you should take care if any insects are attacking you. And apply pesticides as needed. Also, if necessary, there should be a system of giving some water according to the condition of the soil. That is to say, from planting the saplings to fruiting, they should be kept under constant care.
