A picture with a steemian friend"

Hi @simonnigwe, thank you for allowing me to share with the entire platform the steemian I have taken pictures with. Before I proceed, I do love to invite @dave-hanny, @josepha, and @ophinebabe to participate.

What is the name of the steemian you have taken pictures with and how did you meet him/her?

In my journey with steemit so far, I was privileged to meet and interact with many steemians. Unfortunately, I have never seen nor gotten the opportunity to take pictures with most of them. Nevertheless, I'm blessed to have gotten the opportunity and the privilege to stand before a camera with @yakspeace.

How and where I met @yakspeace

We got to know each other at Iyapata NYSC camp in Kwara state, Nigeria. In the orientation camp, we were divided into 10 platoons, and we were lucky to be in the same platoon with her, I.e platoon 4.

In the course of matching exercises and other activities in the camp, we got to know each, and we later learned that we are from the same state, I.e Taraba state. As a result, we start flowing together till we became friends. After the orientation camp, she was posted to Ilorin south, while I was posted to Ilorin East.

What have you learned from the steemian since you guys met?

@yakspeace has always been a blessing to me ever since we met. Frankly speaking, she has made a lot of impact on my life, and I have learned a lot from her. I hope it won't surprise you to know that she was the person that introduced me to this platform that I'm so much enjoying today.

Another basic thing i have learned from her is the spirit of support. Frankly speaking, I have not seen a lady who is supportive like her. She might not have much, but out of the little she has, she supports people around her. She is so kind-hearted. That attribute of supporting people is something I learned from her.

Do you think that this steemian friend of yours has been active, if yes, what has always motivated him/her if no, what have you done to keep him/her active

I'm proud, happy, and satisfied with how active she is on the platform. If you check her blog, you will understand what I'm saying. Hardly would she go a day without making a post on the platform. She is very active and consistent. Although she sometimes can be busy with other schedules, she always makes sure not to leave her blog empty.

Remember, I said she was the person that introduced me to the platform, and she guided me until I became conversant with most of the things needed to make progress in the platform. And I believe it takes only someone active on the platform to introduce another user.

What present or gift do you intend to give this steemian friend of yours as the year ends or in this festive season?

Considering how important and helpful she has been to me, I believe she deserves a good and special gift from me. And if God should bless today, I do love to present her with a laptop 💻. I believe a laptop will go a long way in helping her with the steemit business. But if I'm not able to get a laptop for her, the smartphone won't be bad for her because the phone she is currently using has developed some faults.

I feel blessed to be part of this platform because it has given me a lot of friends around the globe, and it has supported me in other aspects of life. I have not met most of my steemian friends, but I have the confidence that with time, I will get in touch with them.
