In recent years we have been surprised by the breakthrough of a new technology in the form of digital images that can be bought and sold as crypto assets called NFT.

NFT or Non Fungible Token is a token used to represent ownership of a digital asset, digital assets in the form of NFT cannot be copied or counterfeited and only the token owner can trade the NFT.

What has gone viral lately and what many people know is that NFT is just a photo that is traded, this was also popular in Indonesia because in Indonesia there was once a hype NFT Ghozali which showed a selfie of a young man from Indonesia, currently for a photo of NFT Ghozali the price reaches Rp 50,000,000 or equivalent to 17,829 STEEM.

And to buy NFT traders usually use Crypto Currency as a means of transaction, and the type of cryptocurrency used to buy an NFT is ETH or what we commonly know as ETHEREUM.

However, in my opinion, NFT is not a safe asset and the risk can be greater than Crypto Currency, because the price of NFT is really hype because many people talk about it like we buy a painting and not because of a project in it.

If the NFT is no longer hype, the price will immediately collapse and drop drastically so that we will get a big loss.

Unlike Crypto Currency, even though it is a digital asset, Crypto has a clear project or benefit so that it can maintain its price for a very long time like STEEM.

Unless you are an art lover who likes a picture, you can buy NFT to enjoy it, but if you want to make it an investment asset, I think you should think about it again.

Because like the Ghozali NFT that I mentioned above, from its highest price a few years ago, now for one Ghozali NFT the price has dropped to almost 100%, you can imagine how much loss people who buy NFT at its highest price at that time.
