Introduction.

In a nutshell, Equal dignity and importance of men and women, is considered a fundamental human right, it is very significant for social progress, economic growth, and sustainable development in our world today, However, all person's regardless of gender, deserve respect, autonomy, and equal opportunities to explore.

Gender equality technically promotes economic development, improved health sectors and educational sectors, which are also considered, very significant factors to nation building, let's shun every forms of stereotypes in our world and embrace gender Equality for nation's progress and development.

✍️Is the contribution of men and women equal in the society, or is the contribution of men more than women ❓

To be candid the contributions of men and women in the society are not equal, though all the contributions equally valuable, but not equal.

The Man is considered as the head of the family, and in Africa a Man is known to be the Almighty provider, especially in my country, Nigeria. Man is considered also, to be the decision maker in the family and communities, perhaps to be in charge of countries politics and leadership.

While women are considered inferior and not allowed to be part of that, you can hardly hear or see woman among the list of previous Nigeria presidents or state governor's, they cannot be allowed to even contest or talk of winning.

Woman are seen as the Household managers, to take care of children and be supportive to their husbands that's all, so it's never equal, so mens contributions is considered more, than the women in the society.

✍️Who do the people of your country prefer women or men and why?? Or do they give equal importance to women and men ❓

Because So much priority is given to the men in the society or country where I was born and brought up, Africans believes in traditions alot, in Nigeria to be precise:

Men are seen as the superior while the female are regarded as the inferior, sometimes if there's community meetings, female presence is not usually required, in some villages in Nigeria up till date, women's opinions doesn't matter in that community.

With the notions that, "after all they are made to serve the Man and her main responsibilities is the kitchen and to take care of children, while the Man is saddle with many authorities and duties of the nations or household.

✍️A man's life is hard without a woman, and a woman's life is hard without a man, what do you think ❓

Yeah, you are critically right, when we look in to the phrase critically and analyze it, we both would eventually need each other to survive or to lessen some burdens in our lives.

Especially in the aspect of companionship, we all need someone to talk to or confide into, especially when you are dealing with issues about life, God has created both male and female for a reasons, so as not to be lonely, but someone to talk and relate with.

Another thing is In the aspect of procreation, giving birth to young one's, and there's need for understanding that one should be the breadwinner and the other one to be the house manager that's where the division of labor comes in.

So man and woman strongly complimented each other, so without a Man, life is hard and without a woman life's is more harder bro, coz I'm an orphan, after the death of my father life becomes so much harder for my Mom, no division of labor😢, so you see in this scenario? And many more as well.

Yes, I certainly agree with the statement, as the saying always goes " respect is a reciprocal" .

Indeed, both genders need to be respected accordingly especially in a good oriented society, just like the way is not easy to be the only breadwinner likewise, it's never easy to be good house manager, so respect should be accorded accordingly without been judgemental about it.
