Steemit Engagement Challenge - S7W5 | If I were The Principal
Good evening steemian friends everywhere, how are you? Again I am here to take part in the Steemit Enggagement Challenge Season7 Week5 contest with the theme If I were The Principal in the Steem4Bloggers community.
A school will be seen and considered successful if the school has various achievements in the academic field. These achievements were achieved by students, teachers, school principals or the school itself. So the academic achievement of a school is largely determined by the performance of all parties involved in the school. To increase school growth in the academic field can be done in various ways and strategies.
However, this strategy must involve all parties in the school, from students, educators and education staff, school principals to school caretakers. Adequate school facilities and infrastructure are also a factor for school growth in the academic field. I will carry out a strategy by providing regular training to all those involved in the school in order to increase their respective competencies.
Discipline is one of the keys to success to achieve success. Without discipline it will be difficult to achieve what we expect. Even if it is achieved it is only momentary and will not last long. Schools will achieve a good performance if all those involved can carry out the rules that have been set. Teachers as the main factor of success in schools must have discipline in carrying out their duties. Be present at school on time and enter class according to a predetermined schedule in order to set a good example for students. But before that, I myself will give an example by arriving on time.
The field of sports is also something that must be considered at school, although it is not the main thing. Because academic achievement is the most important, while the field of sports at school is a support. However, if academic achievement cannot be improved, sports can be an alternative to make a good name at school. Sometimes there are schools where students have greater talent in sports. At that time, it was the right time for the school to further promote sports besides continuing to strive to improve academic achievement.
There are many ways that schools can do to motivate athletes to continue to improve their achievements. The most common and easy way that I will do is to give awards, prizes or trophies to outstanding students. I will also provide facilities for students who have sporting achievements at school, both in the environment and in the classroom, by not forgetting their respective responsibilities.
A conducive learning atmosphere is needed at school or in the classroom so that the expected goals can be achieved. Bearing in mind that not all students are in the same condition at the school where I work, the way to treat them is also different. I have to understand the conditions and background of the family and the economy as well as the education level of their parents at home. So that the learning approach can also be different, this is done so that the learning atmosphere in the classroom is easier for them. Don't let learning at school make students uncomfortable and the results are not optimal.
The principal is a person who has the advantage that he is trusted to lead a school. The principal's personality is very influential on leadership in the school. The principal of the school where I work has personality, discipline and responsibility at work. The principal also sets a good example by always arriving on time and having a harmonious relationship with all parties at school.
