Good morning happy steemit friends, how are you all? Again I am here and trying to take part in the Steemit Engagement Challenge - S7W4 contest with the theme A Meeting with The President in the Steem4Bloggers community.
Indonesia, my beloved country with the official name of the Republic of Indonesia is an archipelago country located in Southeast Asia. The Republic of Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world with an area of 1.9 million km². My country, Indonesia is also the 4th most populous country in the world with a population of more than 270 million people. The vast territory and very large population are capital for the Indonesian people. The Republic of Indonesia has abundant natural resources, including oil, coal, gold, agricultural products, and others. However, with a large area and a very large population, various obstacles and obstacles must be faced by the Indonesian nation.
The president as the head of state has a very big responsibility in making political policies at home and abroad. In carrying out the wheels of government, the President is assisted by advisers and ministers. But there are officials in the government who do a lot of things and can harm the country. As a large country, it is not an easy job for the President to deal with all the problems that arise. Because of that the President really needs advisers and assistants in running the government.
Corruption is one of the problems that arise and causes losses in various sectors. In addition to the absence of legal action that can create a deterrent effect for the perpetrators, sometimes the punishment given to the perpetrators does not match the losses incurred. As a result of inappropriate punishments, corrupt behavior is very difficult to eradicate in my country, Indonesia. In addition to corruption cases, various big problems must also be faced by the beloved Republic of Indonesia at this time. Huge unemployment, poverty, to the country that is increasingly piling up is a problem that occurs every year.
Therefore, if I have the opportunity to meet the President, I will give him some suggestions to overcome various problems in Indonesia. I will provide input so that the perpetrators of corruption can be punished in the strictest sense by strengthening the law that regulates punishment for perpetrators who are detrimental to the state. If necessary, the appropriate punishment for a corruptor is the death penalty so that it can be a lesson for others. Then I also suggested that the inappropriate use of the state budget be trimmed.
The inappropriate use of the budget so far has led to an increase in the national debt every year. It is also necessary to form an independent state financial supervisory body and make clear regulations so that the team can work without intimidation from irresponsible parties. Finally, if I can meet with the President, I will provide input to prioritize improving the quality of education for the nation's children so that they have the capital to build the beloved Indonesian nation. Because education is the most important capital to advance a nation. So that later the nation's children can manage abundant natural resources for the welfare of the Indonesian people.
