We all yearn for equal rights and opportunity, be it as a man or woman. Before, men were always seen as dominant in many aspects of society, but it's completely different now because women have come to the age of reality, seeking redress and support.
In this contest, it will be my delight to carefully answer the questions outlined for this topic.
Is the contribution of men and women equal in the society, or is the contribution of men more than women ❓ |

Formally, men used to be known as the top contributors to our society. Like I mentioned above, that's no more. Women were often regarded as having a place in the kitchen, they were seen as undeserving of anything worth, after realising their abilities. They woke up to also take up responsibilities in order to be relevant and, to also relieve the men from so much burden. So, both men and women are relevant in my society, though men still have a greater part.
Who do the people of your country prefer women or men and why?? Or do they give equal importance to women and men ❓ |

All the attention has always been on men in every aspect of Nigerian culture, but because of women's continuous pressure for equity and gender equality, there has been a little bit of recognition given to women. Still, much attention and importance is given to the male gender.
A man's life is hard without a woman, and a woman's life is hard without a man, what do you think ❓ |

I understand that some women say they don't need men in their lives, so are men too. I often wonder how that is possible. But saying without a woman, a man's life is difficult or without a man a woman's life is difficult is not completely accurate.
There are men and women who are doing excellently well in their different endeavours without the help of or any speciality attached to any gender because of their success. Achievement and success for me is purely a personal effort except for those who think they can't do without their opposite gender. For me, that saying is not completely true. Anyone can live and survive without having to depend on anyone to succeed.

Yes, I believe this. You can only earn respect when you respect others. I understand that some men feel that a woman owes them respect whether they themselves respect the woman or not. As much as I believe, I believe that respect should be earned and not forced or pressured on.
God created both the man and the woman. There's no point making one feel more important than the other or making the other one feel less important. After all, we're all equal before God and we're all special, important and unique in our different ways.
