The world is really going to an end, things are going far negative than the positive ways, the world is changing. But as matthew 24:13 said: "But the one who has endured to the end will be saved*." So no option than to endure to the end.

You may think why am saying this ,it's about the inflation in my country.Yeah inflation it's really out of hand. Inflation? oh yes, what's really the meaning of this word?

Inflation is a quick fast increased of prices overtime, and rapidly money looses in goods. And increase in dollars makes my country money (naira ) not to have values anymore. Garri which was the cheapest food to afford at least two months ago is now one of the costly foods as at now. Three cups was 200 back then, now three cups is 500.
I jux bought Eva water this morning 1000 naira which was 400 naira two months ago.

Not to talk about onions, maggi etc. Everything keep up increasing including one of the cheapest, and smallest gum( iron gum) is now N450 which was 150 naira back then.

According to you, what are the major reasons behind the growing Inflation rate, specifically in your country?

Fuel Prices: The decline in global oil prices, influenced by the slow post-pandemic economic recovery, has made more price increase.

Currency Depreciations: The sharp fall in the local currency (Naira) has played a significant role in driving up inflation. This has made our naira note not to have values again. Now you can't get something useful with N200, 500 is not longer a the N500 we use to know.

Fuel Subsidy Removal: The removal of fuel subsidies has further more inflation, this changed policy has led to higher fuel prices. This really affect transportation cost. I can't use 1000 naira to go to work again. My transportation fee to work is not less than 2000 naira everyday.

Food: this also brings inflation to my country Nigeria, because foods and goods is on the high side, food prices has gone more higher than two months ago.

Do you think that the increasing Inflation rates effect all the classes and fields of the life?

Yes indeed it's affecting all individual both low and high income earners, including people who have retired .It's hurt, and life is so uncomfortable. Because at some point they can't purchase their certain goods.

Transportation to their various work places is not what someone can imagine. Foods are too go cost, no matter how much you have the inflation must reach you. "This life no balance"a sayings by my country people which really shows how hurt it is to endure and cope this inflation.

As a common citizen, how can we play our part to control the Inflation?

Since I am a common citizens this are the ways I play my part to control which others can do as well:

  • Creating a meal plan: I plan my meals in advance to avoid unnecessary food expenses. Cooking at home can be more cost-effective than dining out in a restaurant or snacks.

  • Diversifying my Income: I explore additional sources of income. I consider freelance work, part-time gigs, or investments. Diversifying my income provide a solution against inflation.

  • Reviewing my budget my Budget: I create and revisit my budget. I have to Understand my income, expenses, and savings and to adjust my spending habits to accommodate rising prices. I also avoid non important expenses and cut back on non-essential items.

In conclusion, as a citizen we all know that inflation is when there's prices increase in goods, foods and product . We can be a good citizen by controlling the inflation on our daily basis ,which is to avoid high debt with high interest, revisiting our budget and having additional source of income like freelance work part-time gigs or investment. I hope we all will cope and endure to the end as Mathew 24:14 said. Thank you all for reading.
