"Equal dignity and importance of men and women"

I am @dave-hanny from my dear country Nigeria, special greetings to you all once again. I am here with my participation on the above contest topic: Equal dignity and importance of men and women. Organised by a very special user @memamun Stay very relaxed as you read from my entry friends.

Are men and women's contributions equal in society, or do men contribute more than women?

Both genders are very important to the society and that is the reason God created man and saw that the man will need the help of a woman to make things work better. In as much as the man is the head does not mean the man is more important.

In my country Nigeria, there use to be a debate on which gender contributes more to the society but in my own space, a woman contribute in her one way to the community and so also the man so, I see the importance of the both genders in equal shape. Every gender contribute in their little quarter to the community so, applause to both men and women.

Who do people in your country prefer, women or men? And why? Or do they give equal attention to women and men?

I must be honest in this because this has been one thing that causes issues and problems in the society today. In my country Nigeria, the man is seen as the head of the family therefore, the society sees the man as the entire strength of a home and then the woman does not have a say when it comes to decision making.

In Nigeria culture, women are not counted in a family and their reason is that she is going to be married in to another family so, in family meetings, they don't summon women to join them which makes me feel like people prefer and give attention to men than the women.

A man's life will be difficult without a woman, and a woman's life will be difficult without a man, what do you think?

Yes! I perfectly believe with the above statement "A man's life will be difficult without a woman and a woman's life will be difficult without a man" look at the beginning of creation, God created a man first and he saw that a man cannot survive it without a woman and there he created a woman.

The woman is to help the man and I am also believing that the man is created to help the woman as well in one way or the other. Both genders are created to be blessings to each other and I believe that all genders are equal in the services to the society.

Every man must respect women, and every woman must respect men, do you agree, why?

A big yes! I have come to understand that respect is what keeps a home. Men deserves to be respected and whenever a man feels he is not respected sometimes leads to a change of life because he will be feeling frustrated.

Women needs to be respected too, a woman feels honoured and adored when her man respects her so, both genders needs and love to be respected at all point. Dear women and men, please let's do the needful and we will be happy in our respective societies. SUCCESS EVERYONE!
