My dear brother I'm very glad to know that you love the pride of India. Ghandi was a great personality but his character was controversial because it was the era when Subcontinent want to get freedom.
Ghandi worked with Great leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the freedom of subcontinent but Ghandi want to get freedom from English but he want to see a single Country in form of india where Muslims and Hindus can live together.
No doubt his efforts were priceless and he worked hard for uniting the Nations but the persons standing nearby him don't want to give rights to other that's why we saw division.
I read his biography and Know him because he is the person which was involved in the time when Quaid fight and get Pakistan.
Both Ghandi and Quaid considered as hero in both nations. Quaid has his picture on Pakistani notes and Ghandhi has his picture on Indian notes. It's a great respect for these two great leaders.
