My Town In Five Pics - Okara

I love in the district Okara so I will be sharing the beauty of district Okara with you.

Fareed-ud-Din Water Park

This is the only one and the most beautiful water park in the district Okara. There are slides as you can see in the picture. These are made at a reasonable height that everyone can enjoy them. The children and the young generation likes these slides the most and there is always some gathering of the visitors. The ending if the slides is in the water which make the slide ride more pleasant. But one should be careful while using these slides because these maybe dangerous for those who are afraid of height and swings. There are magic cars and seesaw as well. There is a big swimming pool in the park which is very beautiful and attractive. That is very clean and enjoyable. The water temperature is always comfortable. The water park remain open till night and there is a good arrangement of lights.

Okara Railway Station

Okara railway station is the biggest railway station in the whole district. It had been made very amazingly with attractive building design. It is very vast. There are waiting rooms as well for the local as well as special authorities. There is the facility of washroom as well for the passengers. The working staff is always available for the assistance. The sweepers keep it neat and clean. There is a good system of the security and protection for the passengers. But unfortunately due to the negligence of the security once it happened that a female passenger was harassed by the workers and it is said that she was raped by them but later on the suspects were arrested as well. But now everything is running smoothly at the Okara railway station.

Hazrat Karman Wala

It is the most well known place of Okara and it is famous in the whole area. This complete building is white and it is very vast. People come here to visit it and to offer their prayers here. There is also a mosque and people here from far off places especially at the Friday to offer their Jumma-tul-Mubarak prayer. And an Urs is celebrated each year in the memory of Hazrat Karman Wala. And it is as famous as theere is a public holiday in the whole district. The roads are jammed due to the traffic. I have visited it many times. One day I visited at Friday and we offered our Jumma-tul-Mubarak prayer there. After that we were served with the food as there is a special section of food which is served to the people. I ate the food to my fill. The place is full of peace and silence. You can see the tombs which looks very beautiful. Taking pictures inside the room is not allowed.

Go Petrolatum Station

The beautiful petroleum station. It is situated at the Okara bypass which connects Multan and Lahore. It is the longest bypass. This petroleum station is very neat and clean. They provide perfect measurements and they do not cheat people. They not only provide petrol but diesel as well. There is the car wash facility as well within the petroleum station. People come here for the best cars wash as well. As it is very vast the people it fir the parking purpose as well. They place their vehicles here at the side of the petroleum at night. The staff is very kind and polite. There is a canteen as well which is open all the time and we can get eating things from here as well as other necessary items.

University of Okara

The beauty of the district Okara and the well-known educational institution of the Okara district is here which is university of Okara. It is the biggest public sector university of Okara where students come across the Pakistan. This university is situated away from the city. It is free from the traffic noise. It is very vast university. It offers many degree programs. It is the entrance gate of the university from the road side. It had total four gates. There are different cafe in the university. The buildings are well furnished and painted. It is the green university of the Asia. It had another campus which is situated in the city. There passes railway line Infront of the university. Students use bridge to cross the railway track. This public sector university is recognized by the HEC.
