Failure is an Option, Giving up Isn't
Humans dedicate effort, time, and energy to various pursuits, such as work accomplishments, relationships, personal development, goals, or life objectives.
Achieving these goals necessitates consistency, a sound mindset, and patience. Presently, there is societal pressure to attain success and goals and achieve an ideal life in a short period, disregarding the fact that these are long-term processes.
Research indicates that nearly 37% of young Pakistanis abandoned their work following the COVID-19 pandemic, whereas a similar percentage of individuals achieved success in their respective fields. This includes freelancers, online small business owners, and others.
The defining factor between these groups is their response to adversity. 37% chose to give up, while others acknowledged failure and persevered in their pursuit of their desired life, ultimately achieving success.
This principle applies to relationships and personal development as well. Those who did not achieve success chose to surrender and fell into depression, while others acknowledged their shortcomings, worked on them, and found success.
It's simple, isn't it?
What is required?
A healthy mind, consistency, and patience come from failure, and from learning comes the strength to rise and ultimately achieve.
I started my journey on Steemit back in the year 2021. I was motivated to work here and earn big because that time, this was my motive. I continuously worked for many months, but I failed to achieve what I wanted because I missed something. My focus was just on monetary gain, with minimal engagement beyond posting and checking notifications. I failed and chose to give up.
When I think about it now I just laugh and more laughing, seriously abdullah?
Many months ago, I was thinking of joining it again, but not with the same motive. Now, it's time to use different strategies. My initial step involved observing the activities on Steemit, exploring engagement techniques, ascertaining time requirements, and other essential considerations. This process revealed to me that Steemit is not about dollars, it is a vibrant and expansive community, bro, a network. It became evident that I needed to become a part of this network, which was the missing piece during my initial engagement with Steemit.
Now, I come back to Steemit with a healthy mind, ready to accept my failure and learn from it rather than give up.
Because failure is an option, it should be an option in life, but giving up is not.
