DraftCrearte Art Contests [S1 / W4]: Hide from the world - by @yolvijrm

Today I want to share with all my colleagues in the Draft Crearte community, my participation in the contest sponsored by the @crearte account, which tests our imagination and literary skills, making a personal interpretation of a work by a recognized artist. This time it is the famous Leonardo Da Vinci.

In this work by Da Vinci, we observe a kind of human figure covered with curtains, which manage to hide its true identity; which perhaps reflects the fear of being discovered by the outside.

As we grow, we are burdened with fear, repressing, limiting, and shaping until we feel like we have lost the wheel.

Sometimes we feel that we make a fool of ourselves, that we do not have the necessary skills, we are rejected, abandoned, humiliated or betrayed; without realizing that this fear takes us away from happiness, and it is probably that fear that has hidden the figure in this work.

There are many people full of complexes, and repressed to show themselves to the world; They cannot express themselves for fear of rejection, abandonment, thus hiding their true being for fear of the judgment of others.

When behaviors are modified by fear, it is often thinking that it will protect them; they fail to show feelings as protection against humiliation, and fear of being negatively judged by others. The truth is that fear does not protect, on the contrary it limits, isolates and deprives of freedom and opportunities.

If we are vulnerable, we are exposed to harm; But if we open ourselves to establish deep and true connections, we can take the step to socialization, and judgment for ourselves, but it is also possible to find friendships and most important of all, whatever the risk, we will be giving ourselves the opportunity. to be, to regain freedom.

To win the fight against fear, the most important thing is to face it; This will begin to re-build that self-confidence that will allow us to imagine a wonderful life and feel that it already belonged to you. When the fight against fear is won, you start to focus your energy on working for what you want. We feel capable and the world is perceived as a place full of opportunities.
