Snake grapes.
It is the root bark of Ampelopsis sinica (Mig.) W.T.Wang. Distributed in Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan and other places. It has the effects of clearing heat and detoxification, dispelling wind and activating collaterals, relieving pain, hemostasis, and suppressing sores. It is commonly used for rheumatoid arthritis, vomiting, diarrhea, ulcers, bruises, swelling and pain, sores, swelling and poisoning, traumatic bleeding, burns and scalds.
