The mysterious waterfall seems to emerge from the heart of a rocky mountain face. This waterfall is named after a female warrior leader of the Blackfeet Nation, Pitamakan. Legend has it that in the early 1700s, she experienced a four-day vision quest on Chief Mountain high above the falls. Pitamakan, which means Running Eagle in the native language led many highly successful war parties, and raids. She was the only woman in the Blackfeet Tribe ever to do so, or to be given a man's name.

Location: Two Medicine, Blackfeet Indian Nation, Montana, USA

#Funfact: Look closely and you will see me standing in the photo, it really gives this place some scale when you see how small I am. This place has a very eery feeling about it. You have to go there to fully understand what I'm talking about. It is no wonder this is considered one of the most sacred places for the Blackfeet Indian people.

This place is haunted. I had a really scary experience with a grizzly bear here back in 2017.
