Caterpillar Clan

I came across this bunch of tiny caterpillars the other day. I wasn't sure what was happening at first but I looked into it more and they appear to be collectively webbing and protecting eggs that have been laid. Caterpillars tend to bunch together for better defense against outside attacks.
