Tanah Lot, wich means "Land in the sea", is home to the "Tanah Lot Temple" (Pura Tanah Lot), which is a Hindu Pilgrimage Temple.
Tanah lot, one of Bali's most famous, is one of seven temples, within eyesight of each other along the south-west coast of bali.
It is believed that venomous snakes guard the base of the temple, from evil spirits and intruders.
