Monumento a la Patria

Este escrito es la segunda parte de la publicación de ayer, como ya eran muchas fotografías y se me hizo muy largo, decidí crear uno en específico para este monumento.

This writing is the second part of yesterday's publication, as there were already many photographs and it became very long, I decided to create one specifically for this monument.

El monumento a la patria es una estructura creada en piedra caliza que representa toda la historia de México, todas las guerras, la independencia, están tallados a mano los héroes de México y personajes muy importantes de nuestra historia, en una parte del monumento están todos los estados de la república mexicana. El monumento a la patria es una estructura única en México y es un gran atractivo turístico para Mérida, Yucatán, está ubicada en la avenida Paseo de Montejo un lugar muy bonito, está cuidado, lleno de restaurantes, hoteles, centros comerciales, áreas verdes y muchas cosas que puedes hacer alrededor. El monumento está en una rotonda.

The monument to the homeland is a structure created in limestone that represents all the history of Mexico, all the wars, the independence, are carved by hand the heroes of Mexico and very important characters of our history, in a part of the monument are all the states of the Mexican Republic. The monument to the homeland is a unique structure in Mexico and is a great tourist attraction for Merida, Yucatan, it is located on Walk of Montejo avenue a very nice place, it is well kept, full of restaurants, hotels, shopping malls, green areas and many things you can do around it. The monument is in a rotunda.

Se puede ver perfectamente el detalle con el que trabajaron la piedra, todos los relieves y formas para hacer las representaciones. Es un imponente monumento de color amarillo, lugar perfecto para tomar muchas fotografías.

You can see perfectly the detail with which they worked the stone, all the reliefs and shapes to make the representations. It is an imposing yellow monument, a perfect place to take many pictures.

En la parte de atrás podemos ver una águila devorando una serpiente y ella está posando sobre un nopal, en la estructura circular de abajo en cuadros pequeños están representados los estados de méxico y sus escudos. En la antigua Tenochtitlan nuestros antepasados aztecas crearon un gran imperio y decidieron fundarlo en ese lugar donde vieron la serpiente posando en el nopal, desde ese momento se empezó a escribir la historia de México y construyeron una gran ciudad que actualmente es la Ciudad de México, esa imagen representa el escudo de la bandera Mexicana, todo tiene su gran significado y está entrelazado con la historia y cultura de México.

On the back we can see an eagle devouring a snake and it is resting on a nopal cactus, in the circular structure below in small squares are represented the states of Mexico and their coats of arms. In the ancient Tenochtitlan our Aztec ancestors created a great empire and decided to found it in that place where they saw the snake resting on the nopal, from that moment began to write the history of Mexico and built a great city that is now Mexico City, this image represents the shield of the Mexican flag, everything has its great meaning and is intertwined with the history and culture of Mexico.
