Queen Termites
Termites are extremely smart and social insects and are ruled by a queen in each colony. Sometimes one can find more than one Queen in a colony.
The Queen's main function is to lay eggs and expand the colony. She can live for 20-50 years.
HOW TO BECOME ROYAL.
In the termite world (anthill), there is a point in time when termites leave their colonies to start their own. When they leave the colony this is especially when the queen dies most of them lose their wings and pair up as male and female and find a suitable place to start a family. The male becomes a king and a female becomes a queen.
