This beautiful view of nature is Ireland's most important tourist attraction.

"Moher means "ruined Fort".

The Cliff of Moher actually means the Cliff of ruined fort. Its fort may have been rearranged by the changing climatic conditions of the past years, given that the fort is over 2000 years old.
It is around 200m/700ft high and 8km/5miles long. It reaches 214/702ft at the highest point. The highest of the Cliff north of O'Brien's Tower.

The Cliff of Moher has a huge historical significance on the edge of Western Europe. This reason is that other Irish legends surround the cliffs.

Experience has it that from the O'Brien's Tower, the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, can be seen clearly.also, the Twelve Pins, Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara and the Dingle Peninsula are among the awesome views to enjoy from this Cliff.

There is the abundance of marine life in the water from the Cliffs ranging from whale, whale shark, seals, eel, spider crab, sea birds etc.

The Moher Cliff aesthetic appeal suits recreational and entertainment purposes. High profile movies have been filmed within suitable landscape of the Cliff.
