Liputan6.com, Jakarta A painting by American painter Jean-Michel Basquiat is able to attract public attention. How not, the abstract painting entitled "Untitled" was sold by Sotheby's Auction House for US $ 110.5 million or the equivalent of Rp 1.4 trillion (exchange rate of 1 US $ = Rp 13,330)
Launching VOA, Sunday (21/5/2017), Sotheby's recorded the auction value as the highest sales record for an American artist. Nearly 30 years after his death, Jean Michel Basquiat was only able to sell his paintings at this record price.
